Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual with positive vibes and a passion for Sales, to join our team and support the growth of the company through strategic development and implementation of GTM strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for gaining new business opportunities and managing existing customers as well as the distribution channels towards achieving the sales targets and objectives for the local market.
This is a full time, hybrid role for a Sales Engineer located in Malaysia/Thailand/Philippines. He/She is located in his/her country with flexibility for remote work, reporting to General Manager in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for sales target in the region of local market.
Proven sales methods and support tools to achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully converting leads into clients.
Pursue sales leads, visit existing and new customers, assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
Monitors competition by gathering current market intelligence data on pricing, competitors' movement, product and service trends.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual analyses and reviews.
Discuss with superior on weekly sales plans to prioritise and schedule own activities so these targets are met.
Effectively communicate client needs to the Technical Support Teams to dissolve any potential technical issues as well as for future product enhancement and betterment.
Build and promote strong, long-lasting relationship and rapport not only with customers, but also internally in order to understand customer's requirements and product fit.
Perform duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree/Higher Education in Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
Min. 2~3 years of sales experience in an electronics, EMS, automation or Capital Equipment Manufacturing industry can be considered.
Proven sales record in a similar capacity will be an advantage.
Preferably some basic knowledge on Optical Visual Inspection technology but not essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of the sales operation process and customer engagements.
Adaptable, proactive, and a quick learner with a strong sense of responsibility.
A team player with a positive attitude, able to work independently, and willingness to learn.
